For decades pop icon David Bowie has conquered music charts around world. His popularity was, and is still, prolific and so too is his image.

Whether it is posters plastered to bedroom walls or his face on an album cover, for most, bowie is instantly recognisable.

You'll probably be surprised to know just one man took most of those iconic images.

He worked with Bowie for 40 years and still does.

He is Japanese, can barely speak a word of English and is currently visiting Masterton.

Dan Parker went over the Rimutakas to meet him and his many fans.
