A US TV network is to pay tribute to tragic actor David Carradine by shelving its schedule in favour of a marathon of his films.

Spike TV bosses will air films like Kung Fu Fighter and the two Kill Bill movies back to back on Saturday - for 11 hours.

Carradine, 72, was found dead, hanging in the closet of his Bangkok hotel suite last week.

Some local reports suggested he committed suicide, while Thai police believe he died accidentally as he took part in a dangerous sex game involving auto-erotic asphyxiation - where victims achieve heightened sexual pleasure by restricting their air supply.

Autopsy results have ruled out suicide.
