Sir Elton John's partner David Furnish has taken another shot at Madonna, calling her Golden Globes win "a fluke" and urging her to "stick to what she's good at".

The Rocket Man lost out on the Best Original Song prize at the Sunday night ceremony to the Material Girl, who took gold for her track ‘Masterpiece’, which featured in her directorial movie W.E.

After the ceremony, a post on Facebook.com, allegedly written by Furnish, read, "Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!!"

Furnish has now spoken out about the rivalry between his partner and the pop superstar, questioning her win at the Globes and urging her to quit moviemaking.

He tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "I think it was a fluke... When this happens you have to question the integrity of the awards. Did Madonna get the Golden Globe because she attended the awards and agreed be a presenter?

"Can you sing Madonna's song? Can you hum it? It's a song nobody has heard, from a film few have seen. The award should have gone to (nominee) Mary J. Blige or Elton. I like Madonna's music, but not her movies. She should stick to what she is good at."
