tua u got diss bro pray more and god will show u the way, amen
bro i know we grew up together back in mangere just happy your safe and all right boxing is a hard sport and its good to see you back in the sport representing nz and samoa.its back to the drawing board aye bro train hard and all the best johnny kalolo.
Lets be honest, if Barret hadn't wrestled Tua every time Tua had him on the ropes Barret would've been knocked out by the 4th or 5th round. Barret was wrestling him continuously, but in saying that Tua should have been able to realise that and adjust his game plan.
Sorry to y..all,it's 12 rounds of scoring not just 1 or 2....Barrett should try wrestling cause they allow holding in every round.I'm amazed their was no point deducted for holding more than 5 times in every round...Good luck on your next fight TUAMINATOR...cheers from da ROCK.
well what can you say? i met David Tua in Samoa about a month befor the Lewis Fight, the young man is a Golley Guud Fellow.its to sad that he like Mike Tyson ended up losing two of the best trainers in the Boxing Biz, that Lu Duver and Cus Diamato only to end up with the Clang On's that took them right to the Gutter. Millions$$$ have been lost!all i can say keep trying David you still got it Bro,oh and try and get ahold of another great trainer like Emanuel Stwart.still a fanElishua
you have to win every round not just the last round. Don't mistake the knockdown for a knockout. David's plan of winning every round got him through but it could have been a win if it were not for the 12th round point deduction and knockdown.
I agree with psilas, Barret definately robbed. This is the first time Tua has had a worthwile fight with someone, yeah the judges are obviously listening to those who dictate boxing.
Tua lost ! Dodgy judges !
Corrupt? That is an unserstatement. Barret clearly won that fight. His balancce, speed and conditioning put him at the top of his game. he was the better fighter and Tua knew it. Tua was a gentleman though; I have to give him credit. When He placed that belt on Monte Barret; he won my respect. Not to mention that display of integrity told the judges what they needed to be told.
