A pilot killed in a plane crash in Taranaki yesterday has been identified as 52-year-old Colin David Greatrex from Auckland.
Mr Greatrex was the only occupant of a single-engined, privately-owned biplane which crashed into a field north of Stratford.
The plane had been on a flight from Ohakea to Ardmore in South Auckland when it went down.
