Fashion designer-turned-director Tom Ford admits he relies on his partner to do a lot of their domestic chores but has to bribe him to do it.
He told website AfterElton.com: "I have to pay my boyfriend to walk the dog, and he takes the money! I have to pay him twenty dollars. I have to actually have a bill in my hand, and he'll take it from me and then he walks the dog.
"The point is, I have friends who understand and know us, but they'll still say things about our lifestyle. What lifestyle? We live together, we cook dinner together, we buy groceries, we go on vacation, we have the dogs, we share our lives because we love each other. What's this lifestyle thing?"
Last month, Tom revealed he "loathes" the fashion industry at the moment and wants to get back into the fashion industry because he's been away so long he's starting to dislike it.
The former Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent designer said: "Being away from it, not living and breathing it - how do I articulate this? - it taught me that a lot of it is a bunch of c**p.
"I mean, to be honest with you, I loathe the fashion world right now, and I know I'm not alone in saying that. Maybe, though, that's a signal to me that I have to figure out a way to make it less loathsome."
