Police are warning drivers against using Auckland’s north-western motorway due to an extensive diesel spill.

The spill is westbound between Rosebank Road and Te Atatu Road.

There are some very large patches of diesel over a 10 kilometre stretch of motorway.

The motorway is described as very slippery.

Extreme caution is advised.
