Another of Kim Dotcom’s co-accused has been bailed at the Manukau District Court this morning.

Mathias Ortmann is charged alongside the Megaupload founder, Bram van der Kolk and Finn Batato, with internet piracy and the FBI is looking to extradite them to the United States where they will face charges of conspiring to commit racketeering, conspiring to commit money laundering, copyright infringement, and aiding and abetting copyright infringement over the internet through the website Megaupload.

Batato was bailed on Monday and Van der Kolk was bailed last week.

Dotcom has had his bail application denied as he was considered a flight risk.

Ortmann is subject to 17 bail conditions, which include no access to internet.

I am apaulled at the way we are treating dotcom. What ever happened to inocent until proven guilty. Who are we as NZ obeying Obamaor the US. I say we need to forget about the rest of the world and simply run our own country the way we want to run it. This man is bringing millions into the country and spending up large why would we want to loose him. John Key grow some BALLS and look after what we got. We need to stop waisting our folks time and our money by not putting inocent people in jail. If dotcom ever wants to turn up in the US then thats his joice and they the US can grab him then in the mean time let him go in piece. Ray Clapperton
