One person is believed to be trapped after a car hit a tree in the Far North.
Emergency services are in attendance at the scene, on the intersection of State Highway 1 and State Highway 10 near Pakaraka.
They are preparing to extract the car’s single occupant, trapped after the car came to a stop down a small bank.
Injuries are being assessed and traffic diversions are in place.
