Thank you for showing the capabilities of these wonderful strays and previously unwanted dogs. It is amazing what positive reinforcement can do and what a little hard work. You are an shining example of what Shelter workers do to keep their animals minds working and keeping their adoptability up around the world.. MSBEA one bad decision by one person at one SPCA does not mean you need to shoot down EVERY SPCA in the world. They are the biggest rescue organization and are one of the only voices that keep animals safe and respected. They are the ONLY organization that can do anything about animal cruelty and animal negelect in my counrtry, and I have to respect them for that. If you are supporting rescue organizations other then the SPCA then that is wonderful too...there is so many animals in the world that need our help!

Some people need to lighten up. SPCA do a terrific job and sometimes they don't get it right all of the timeof but they're the people taking care of homeless and abused animals all the time. It's a light hearted and really amusing and fun news story and many many people all over the world are following this. SPCA - you rock

I am not surprised dogs drove on your instruction. Every day we see dogs sitting in the passenger seat like it is solely their domain, and I well remember when I saw an owner return to his vehicle from the shop, where his dog sat behind the wheel. He opened the drivers's door and with a "shoosh" expected the dog to immediately move sideways. WRONG! The dog snarled and objected STRONGLY to leaving his pozzie! Like, "Its me who belongs here not you!"

I was interested in your volunteer Fire Brigade story tonight. We have been volunteer Civil Defence volunteers for 15 years, we were also compelled by our city council to join Red Cross or not be volunteers. We joine Red Cross and they disminated us within 3months because we were not up to their standards, but they were jelous because our standards were higher and we were able to be more involved than they were in the earthquake in Feb. Since our "rogue" scenario we have been wiped from them and Emergency Management Southland. As the volunteer said tonight we are a 2% population that would help when others are running the other direction. I personally saved a person in theFeb earthquake. But we were made to feel uncomfortable and leave because Red Cross weren't up to scratch. In fact we opened the Pioneer Stadium to msplaced people and had to endure the stupidity of Red Cross personnel and their childishness. I would loveto volnteer for rural Fire or Civil Defence, but our 15 years of training and being instructor has now left a bad taste and we dont want to be undermined o abused or threatened anymore. W were ignored when we requested counselling, we were undemined when we question the mandate we were lead to believe was the agreement, we didn't have a H&S plan n place for us and when we ask to see a H&S plan we were threatened by ex police interrigation tactice. is that in the mandate of volunteerism? does hat inspre volunteerism? So as uc as we would like tobe volnteers, it hasn't heled our sanity or confidence
