A Wanganui man and woman will appear in court today after drugs, drug paraphernalia and more than $30,000 were found in their speeding car.
The pair were stopped on State Highway 4 at Horopito, 8km north of Ohakune, on Sunday after being clocked travelling 120kmh.
A small amount of methamphetamine, two methamphetamine pipes, scales and more than $30,000 in cash were found in the car, police said.
A search warrant executed at a Wanganui house found cannabis and "evidence of drug dealing".
The 39-year-old man and 36-year-old woman were charged with possession for supply, and the woman was also charged with driving while disqualified.
They would appear in Wanganui District Court today.
Police said further charges may be laid.
