Is there a "Name and Shame" website where all people who have been caught drinking and driving can have their face published? Along with details of where and when, and how many times previously? Would that not be a fantastic idea? Maybe their families might start getting involved, keep a closer eye on them. Let me know if there already is one!!

Lets see it then, no more Judges discretion as it has been up until now, even those who have killed while drink driving in the last few years are re-offending after minimal sentences! Mandatory penalties should be enforced and reflect the danger these people represent on our roads.Faith in the justice system must be restored!Less talk more action.

I just think this is one item that we almost don't need to comment on, because it won't matter which race, religion, sexual orientation, class, age, gender, marital status, or political bent we most strongly identify with, we can all be in near complete harmony on this one: Barry Monaghan is one serious and committed alcoholic who couldn't give a flying fornication about anyone else; is a selfish drunken bastard on the roads, and should be removed from the roads completely, if possible; and if he did happen to be so "unlucky" as to kill a fellow road user while pickled as a cabbage, that he should be charged for calculated murder instead of some mamsy pampsy accidental vehicular death bullmilk.
