Electronic Arts has revealed two new Battlefield sequels from DICE currently titled as Battlefield 1943 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
No release date has been announced, but both games are scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
As the name suggests, Bad Company 2 is a direct sequel to the first Bad Company game and will be powered by the same Frostbite game Engine.
"Bad Company 2 takes everything that players liked in the original and ups the ante - more vehicles, more destruction, and more team play," says Karl Magnus Troedsson, executive producer for DICE.
Battlefield 1943 will take gamers to World War II with three reworked maps of Battlefield 1942 - Guadalcanal, Wake Island, and Iwo Jima. The maximum players that can join a 1943 game are 24 instead of traditional 64 players.
EA will also offer digital download of Battlefield 1943 - on PC, Xbox Live, and the PlayStation Store.
