The finalists have been announced for the 8th annual iD International Emerging Designer Awards, to be held on March 29 in Dunedin.
Twenty eight finalists from seven countries will show at the event, including representatives from Switzerland, Israel and Croatia.
Event co-ordinator Victoria Muir says “even stronger representation from New Zealand and Australia” will make this year’s event one to remember.
“Every year I’m amazed at the quality of the entries we receive… I’ve collated over 100 entries from 11 different countries, representing some of the most prestigious fashion schools in the world.”
More menswear collections and more designers showing environmentally sustainable processes are among the highlights of this year’s collection.
