Actress Emma Stone swapped Spider-Man for Sesame Street to teach kids about balance.

The actress, who plays the superhero's love interest Gwen Stacy in the hotly-anticipated reboot of the franchise, took time out from filming to make a cameo on the beloved educational show.

Stone's task was to show kids the meaning of the word balance, by trying to carry a laundry basket and a stack of books on her head - to no avail.

The star is helped out by magical muppet Abby Cadabby, who puts a spell on Stone so she can carry the whole load on her head.

Stone follows in the footsteps of Katy Perry and Ellen Pompeo, who have also recently guest-starred on the American TV hit.
