England captain's antics overshadow Rugby World Cup

Fri, 16 Sep 2011 7:00p.m.

In Dunedin, the Rugby World Cup has perhaps been overshadowed by the antics of the England captain before they take on Georgia.

Mike Tindall is not only England's captain but six weeks ago, he married the queen's grand daughter Zara Philips.

That makes him tabloid fodder, with every public move subjected to intense scrutiny.

So why was he seemingly tempting fate, and a blonde, in a Queenstown bar in the early hours of Monday morning?

Previously the main source for this story was British tabloid newspaper, The Sun.

That made it easy to ignore.

Now the video itself has emerged, released by a man who claims he was a bouncer at the bar that night.

Thanks for the update on the "Christchurch Red Zone". More people who haven't built our city, or live in our city get to see what us who have built it, can not. When in the blue blazes will Cantabrians get to see their own City. This type of coverage, John really p....s me off. Why can't we see it on a bus like the priviliged few from out of town???
