Star-studded movie musical Nine has had its release pushed back to December.
The film, starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz and Marion Cotillard, was expected to hit US cinemas in time for the Thanksgiving Day weekend (26-29 November), but the picture, directed by Rob Marshall, will now get a limited US release on 18 December before opening across America and in the UK on Christmas Day.
Studio bosses at the Weinstein Co. insist the date change is not the result of delays in production, reports Variety.com.
