As said, this is not censorship or destruction of private property. Gideon Bibles are a gift to anyone who wants them. Gideon bibles may be taken from the room, and there is nothing illegal about using bibles to (for example) prop up wobbly table legs, or to write in them, or to take them home to read. One could argue that it's disrespectful, but it's not destruction of property or censorship. The most one could argue is that it's disrespectful, but it's also disrespectful for the bible to spread sexism, racism, or homophobia.

This is not a problem with being gay and Christians. This is a problem of your sin and a Holy God. You don't have a problem with Christians, you have a problem with God. You can tear the pages from the book, but God's word endures forever. On that last day, you shall face the one true God that you say does not exist.
