American popsters the Backstreet Boys are extending their world tour to New Zealand and Australia, with a gig at Auckland's Vector Arena on March 11, their publicists said today.

The now not-so-boyish band, who formed in 1993, boast 14 top 40 hits on the US Billboard Hot 100 and sold over 100 million albums worldwide - making them among the biggest selling artists of all time.

Their latest album titled This Is Us was released this year and they are now on the European leg of their world tour of the same name.

OMG!!! Just went to the auck show!!! To those who thought they have gone down hill over the years-you missed a fantastic show!!! They have got with the times again!! Great dance moves, great bass, great sounds!!! Great front row seats!!!!! Great videos of them!!! Im glad i didn't miss that!!! I love BSB!! They were only 2 metres away from me!!! Insane! ;) the show was hyped full of energy!! They are all back to how they were, but improved, fit and fantastic! Go boys!!! xoxo :)

Still kinda am a bsb fan, not able to get to their concert but wasnt really bothered about it as i feel they've gone downhill over the years.. Was a major Nick nutt but after i read about the drugs etc i'm not so much of a nutt.. anyways welcome to nz guys
