Many AC/DC fans found themselves a little fog-struck when they tried to fly out of the capital today.
Operations at Wellington Airport were disrupted by fog, and with a third of concert goers coming from the South Island, hundreds were left stranded.
The fog lifted late this morning, but all the cancellations had a knock-on effect and it took most of the day to clear the backlog of stranded passengers.
But Wellington’s weather still got the thumbs up.
“Yesterday was a good day for the concert,” says one AC/DC fan 3 News spoke to.
MetService says fog is forecast for tomorrow as well, but it’s likely to clear early in the morning.
When the fog finally cleared today, sun made way for more AC/DC fans to arrive in the capital ahead of the second show tomorrow night.
