Bono, frontman of U2, who are now in the Playboy Hall of Fame (Reuters)

Lily Allen, Green Day, AC/DC and Beyonce are among the big winners in the Playboy 2009 Readers Poll.

Rockers U2 picked up the magazine's Hall of Fame prize, while Allen claimed the Best Alternative Album for It's Not Me, It's You and Beyonce landed the Best R&B Album prize.

AC/DC were named the Best Live Act and Green Day scored the Best Rock Album for 21st Century Breakdown.

Also among the winners were: Miranda Lambert (Best Country Album), Eminem (Best Hip-Hop Album) and Lady Gaga (Breakout Album).

Beyonce also claimed the Song of the Year for ‘Single Ladies (Put A Ring on it)’, Allen Toussaint landed the poll's Best Jazz Album for The Bright Mississippi and the Best World Album prize was claimed by Amadou & Mariam for Welcome To Mali.

The Beatles' Abbey Road was named Best Reissue.
