New Zealand tennis No.1 Marina Erakovic recovered from a break down in the first set to win 10 games in a row and romp past Anne Keothavong in straight sets at the WTA event in California.
Erakovic was down 4-2 to her British opponent in the first round at Carlsbad before hitting her straps to cruise to a 6-4 6-0 win.
The 24-year-old world No.47 made the most of Keothavong's 10 double faults to set up a second round meeting with world No.14 Dominka Cibulkova.
The Carlsbad event is Erakovic's last before she heads to the Olympics.
