New Zealander Marina Erakovic and Thai partner Tamarine Tanasugarn are through to the third round of the women's doubles at Wimbledon.
The pair beat Poland's Klaudia Jans-Ignacik and Alicia Rosolska 7-6(4) 6-3 to set up a third-round match with fifth-seeded Russians Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina.
Erakovic and Tanasugarn's consistency played a vital role in the win. They made just three unforced errors, and converted more than 80 per cent of their first serves.
They also returned well, winning 40 per cent of their opponents' serves and converting four of 12 break point opportunities.
The 1hr 43min win is a good omen for Erakovic and Tanasugarn, who beat the same Polish combination in the second round at Wimbledon last year.
They went on to make the semifinals before losing 8-6 in the third set against Sam Stosur and Sabine Lisicki.
Erakovic was knocked out of the singles on Friday, losing in 6-4 6-3 in the second round to 21st seed Roberta Vinci of Italy.
