Pip Collins' father was the pilot of the doomed flight
Sun, 29 Nov 2009 7:53p.m.
Family of victims of the Erebus disaster will make a second attempt to land at the scene of the crash tomorrow.
Six relatives of passengers and crew from the flight are in Antarctica for the 30th anniversary of the crash, which claimed 257 lives.
The group could not land on the mountain on Friday because of bad weather, and will return there by helicopter again tomorrow.
They hope to land and hold a short memorial service.
