Wow!! Rather than mention ALL the efforts that go into making sure things like this don't happen- leave it to one of "these" guys to make sure to mention that they do! Measure and steps are taken each and every day to avoid these situations, at all cost! And, not only are they taken... But- they are HUGELY successful!! What's truly the shame here is this man (whom is afraid to show his face) is a TRUE coward!! Not only is he hiding, but let's not forget and I will assure you of this- He WAS collecting a check while this was happening!! And, rather than speaking to the company he worked for, and explaining to them that this needed to stop. He collected his check first, made his money, Got his flight time. Cause I know PERSONALLY how all these NZ pilots work- and then passed it onto to Greenpeace? If you truly gave a f#ck, you would have stopped it while it was happening- Dpuche Bag!!

@cyril, you obviously havent done your research because ocean friendly brands such as Greenseas (who have gone FAD-Free) are alot cheaper than Sealord products, also Pams and Homebrand are starting to source their tuna from sustainable meathods and as we all know these brands are alot cheaper than Sealord. So not only are Sealord raping the oceans, theyre also charging extortionate prices for it. Sealord: nice logo, bad tuna.

I fished for Albacore Tuna on the West Coast of NZ,trolling lures, and have followed surface long liners as they retrieved their lines.I saw hundreds of sharks that were caught alive and then shot through the head and dumped back in the sea only so the skippers could get their gear back eg lures or hooks.Sadly this was a common occurance.

Remember this when the price of your tuna trebles because the cost of catching it goes through the roof.
