Its the old story, if the 'expert' thinks it's such a good idea, put them in the house next to hers. Simple.
Would be great if you could interview some of the neighbours and show footage of all the little children walking to school tomorrow morning past this place. Island Bay is simply seething with young children and families and it is simply not the place for a wet house. Would really like you to show this matter from the residents point of view as well.
Please provide a balanced view TV3. You do you news integrity a disservice with one sided representations. This article is one side and as expected has missed out a considerable amount of key facts in this discussion - particularly highlighting the success criteria hangs on certain components, many of which are completely absent from this proposal. Please pursue unbiased fair and balanced reporting by providing other perspectives. This woman is clearly motivated to represent her own report positively. Regards.
I find it interesting that Stephanie feels assured residents will be fine as there are only six people in the house it only takes one resident - as a mother my heart goes out to those in Island Bay there is no way I'd be letting my kids walk to school, you just wouldn't want to take the risk.
