perhpas those of you who are against the troops being there, which have been there since 2003 should actually go and educate yourself on what they are doing there. Because of NZ schools are teaching females, because of NZ hospital are able to do their work. NZ has done so much there in the past 9 years that you people have never had to live without and when you ask these kiwi's working there they believe in what they are doing and want to be there.

Afghanistan should fight it's own war against those terrorists. Why are we letting are boys die there? They were 1 month short to go home!!! Afghanistan has been on wars since ever! First the Russians in the 80's then the americans in the 2000's, and in between the taliban, al kaeda , and who nows what more. Does anybody see peace, prosperity and a true democracy there? It's a joke!Women there are treated like dogs, no rights what so ever. My respects to the families of these brave men who gave their lives. PEACE!
