Rage Against The Machine halted their set at Britain's Download Festival on Saturday when a crowd surge left several fans injured.

The festival audience became restless when the band's set started 20 minutes late, and, by their third song, it was clear that some members of the crowd were getting crushed in the chaos.

Frontman Zack de la Rocha cut short the group's ‘People Of The Sun’ and urged the audience to behave themselves.

He told them, "Brothers and sisters, please, please take (care) of each other. There's a couple (of) people been real hurt over here."

After the injured people had been removed from the crowd, the band resumed their set at the festival in Derbyshire, England.
