After four days of fashion frenzy New Zealand Fashion Week is drawing to a close.
Almost 50 designers hit the runway this year, many old favourites - but some who were cutting their catwalk teeth.
It was Charlie Brown's first New Zealand Fashion Week, and it came with an unscripted PR moment when a poor, teetering catwalk model was helped by mayor Len Brown.
San Francisco-born Charlie Brown been based in Australia for the best part of 30 years, launching her own label in 1995.
She recently made the leap across the ditch, pushing into Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
Now she's hit the Kiwi catwalk as well.
The Aussies aren’t the only newbies at New Zealand Fashion Week. Auckland designer Vicky Taylor has been around longer than Fashion Week itself, and is finally dipping her toes into the event.
It was Taylor's first solo show here - she signed up for Fashion Week just a month ago.
“It is very expensive, in a right market it’s a big cost, will it be worth it for me? It'll be worth it for showing a Taylor experience and the catwalk is the best way to do that,” she says.
After four full days of crammed catwalks, it’s now business time for all the designers who have shown here, all hoping to have made some noise and sealed some I do's from the buyers as well.
