Today is International No Diet Day, and a group of Auckland University students have celebrated with a bit of fashion.

The fashion parade at the university's quad campus showcased women of all shapes, sizes and ethnicities wearing some of the latest designs supplied by a handful of New Zealand clothing stores.

Organiser Nicole Boyce said while strutting their stuff down the catwalk was too nerve-wracking for some, they were more than happy to help with set up.

Organisers say they want the show to send the message you're beautiful no matter your size.
