At 5.00am this morning a fatal crash took place in Mangere Auckland.
A vehicle with two occupants inside it crashed into a power pole on Massey Rd Mangere.
One of the occupants died at the scene and the other has been taken to hospital.
Police are currently at the scene investigating and have said the road will be closed for several hours.
The road is fully closed off at the intersection of Massey Rd and Ferguson St. Diversions are in place at Tennessee Ave and Buckland Rd.
