Unfortunately, a high percentage of professional rugby players are really just street thugs and scumbags with money. It's been seen, furthermore televised, over and over that they do things like intentionally jumping on player’s spines and heads, and poking fingers into eyes. Even incident of forcing digit/s up a player’s rectum were recorded on camera in front of thousands of people – what does that tell you about their breeding? Probably the result of incest? Who knows… anyway if they weren’t playing international rugby they would probably be in jail. These sorts of scumbags struggle to be ‘normal’ people on the street and so incidents like this case of groping a young girl in public will continue to happen unless they are convicted with maximum penalties.

All I know is that Brooke had been trying so hard to apologise to the girl on the very next day but they wouldnt allowed him to...after that the victim family is asking for an apology from him??..what the hell..Brooke tried but they wouldnt allowed him to...plus stoping talking about behaving professionally as an all blacks..cum on guys Brooke was an all black and he is now retired and running his own business...cant you give him a space for mistakes???..no one is perfect and if you had been drunk yourself you get to do something sometimes that you regret like Brooke did...We should allow some space for mistakes in our lives and do accept them happening....These victim families are really greedy for money???..maybe they suffer thru reccession????...is it that bad???..why want to give the money to charity???..y u should just ask Brooke to give the money to charity instead????..comeone people think b4 you blah blah....

For far too long have we seen the likes of Robin Brooke create media frenzy - all for the wrong reason - and get away 'scot-free'!
I bet anyone of us found in that circumstance would be thrown into prison!
But it seems to me that if you're a sporting personality, involved with media or open to public scrutiny, then you are exempt from certain laws.
Sadly, I also hold those responsible for upholding the laws in this country just as guilty for such atrocities.
We pride ourselves as a nation of people where loyalties, tradition and 'kiwiana' run deep in our blood. Clearly this does not sit harmoniously with my interpretation of New Zealand.

MONEY MONEY MONEY. From what I have read Robin did got to the girl and tried to apologise the next day but the people she was with didnot want to know. It looks like all this girls family want is money. New Years Eve, the 15 year old is out in a night club and is drinking. She may be a lookin I donot know but YES Robin should not hace piniched your bum but when it became knowen who he was the story came out. Now the family want $200.000 for a pinich on the bum. Brooke's behaviour is absolutely disgusting and no amount of damages is too high. Robin Brooke should have apologised immediately and still should apologise right now. He clearly has no morals and is utterly unsuitable to be an All Black. Go the families!
