Fernando Torres has been warned by Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo, that a place-in his starting line-up is not guaranteed despite Didier Drogba’s departure.

Torres launched an attack on the Blues in the wake of their Champions League victory in Munich, threatening to quit the club due to the treatment he has received.

Di Matteo insists there are no lingering issues with the forward, who scored three goals during Spain’s successful Euro 2012 campaign.

"We have three strikers at the moment in the squad, and I would not be saying who is going to be playing. They will all have to fight for their position and there is healthy competition. Whomever is in the best form and can give the best for the team will be playing." Di Matteo says.

Signed from Liverpool at the start of 2011 for £50 Million ($97 Million), the 28-year-old has made 67 appearances for Chelsea with a return of just 12 goals.

Torres should be guaranteed first team shirt because he is putting in his best just that the goals aren't coming

Torres should be given a fair chance to prove his worth and very sure he will fill that vaccum left by Drogba successful so he should not be written off I still beleive in him.
