Fifty Shades of Grey author E.L. James is hoping to conquer the album charts with a new release inspired by her bestselling erotic fiction.

The writer has teamed up with EMI Classics bosses to compile tracks for Fifty Shades of Grey - The Classical Album, which features music she has personally selected and referenced in her book trilogy.

The album will be released in North America later this month and will include Bach's Adagio from Concerto #3, Verdi's La Traviata Prelude and Canon in D by Pachelbel.

James says, "I am thrilled that the classical pieces that inspired me while I wrote the Fifty Shades trilogy are being brought together in one collection for all lovers of the books to enjoy."

The album’s tracklisting is as follows:
