Fiji police are yet to say whether former All Black Robin Brooke will face charges following allegations he groped a 15-year-old girl then assaulted a 17-year-old boy at the Hilton Denarau on New Year's Eve.

Sergeant Suliano Tevita yesterday confirmed the former rugby player was being investigated but today told Radio New Zealand there would be no new information until at least tomorrow.

The girl was sitting by the pool with two others when Brooke walked past and allegedly grabbed her bottom.

Her friend Jordan Whittaker told TV3 News when he attempted to intervene Brooke threw him on a deckchair and grabbed his throat.

Both Brooke and the girl have since returned to New Zealand.
