Favourable weather has allowed salvors to continue to remove containers and debris from the wreck of the Rena.
Maritime New Zealand (MNZ) says two 40-foot containers and a 20-foot container were cut up and removed from the ship on Tuesday.
Salvors have also been on board emptying containers of leather skins.
Helicopters have been used during the salvage operations this week.
MNZ says westerly winds and swells are forecast to increase on the Astrolabe Reef, off Tauranga, throughout the day on Wednesday, which may slow down salvage operations.
Fine weather is expected for Thursday.
MNZ said on Monday that an increase in the movement of the forward section of the Rena had been detected.
Meanwhile, shoreline clean-up assessment teams have not found any significant oil during surveys of beaches from Mount Maunganui to Papamoa East.
Oil spill response teams are still working at Matakana Island, Mount Maunganui and Leisure Island.
