A small fire at the Regent Theatre in Auckland's CBD has been put out, the fire service has confirmed to 3 News.
The fire was in a hot water cupboard. Fire fighters are now trying to clear smoke from the building.
It is not believed the fire caused any significant damage to the building, which is part of the St James Theatre complex.
