These machines have been produced by Universal Hovercraft in the States for some years. e.g. see: http://www.hovercraft.com/content/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=53 You can also see clips posted 2 years ago on Youtube of their hoverwings carrying out the exact same manouvers. I'm unsure why this Rudy guy is called an inventor... hasn't he just built his own version of an existing craft? Notice his Trademe ad states copyright not included - that's because he doesn't hold the copyright to this design! Cheers.
Gerrit where on that website is a hovercraft that flys? Agree it is not new, a man in Taupo made his hovercraft fly and i believe that was covered when it happened by either tv1 or tv3 news.
