Former Kapiti mortgage broker Kerry Buddle has today pleaded not guilty to two charges of obtaining by deception.
Buddle entered her plea in a brief appearance at Lower Hutt District Court this morning.
Police have investigated Buddle for months after allegations she convinced her clients to loan her money after they took out mortgages on their homes.
Police received the first of seven complaints about Buddle in December last year but the charges today are separate from those complaints.
She last appeared at the Court on August 9 but was remanded so she could apply for legal aid.
