What gets me is the way Science is treated as 'Truth' when it is constantly changing. Science nothing more than assumptions based on observed phenomena. You conduct an experiment the same way 5 times and get the same result it's reasonable to assume the process creating that result. However, as new observations come in those assumptions are challenged and confirmed or refuted. A thousand years ago man thought the earth was the centre of the universe and the world was flat, today we 'know' differently, tomorrow, who can tell.

Today science has almost become another religion, one where 'truth' is what we declare it to be and any observations that don't suit are ignored. There is evidence to suggest the earth is millions of years old, and their is evidence that suggests a very young age. There is evidence to suggest evolution, and there is evidence to suggest creation. We should be teaching our children to be open minded, but instead we fill their heads with 'truth' that is mearly based on assumptions.

Right on Peter, the thing about the missing links is just that their missing.As for millions of years if the earth was only one million years old it would not sustain life.Think about it what colour do streams turn after rain? this is the life sustaining soil pouring into the ocean.The ocean does not contain enough sediment for the earth to be more than Max 20 000 years old.If the earth was half a million years old they would never ever have found the Titanic,it would have sunk into the sediment,If one studys the real scientific evidence one will find 95% of real scientific evidence points to a max age for the earth and universe of less than 20 000 years and much of that less than 10 000 years.Hey Earth is in a spiral galaxy it is slowly winding up like a clock spring, it can not survive great periods of time.A comets tail is the ice being left behind,one does not need to be too bright to figuer this cant go on for millions of years.True science. shows everything is devolving not evolving Pseudo science pushes evolution and millions of years,real science serches for the truth
