Four people are due to appear in court in Fiji today, following the alleged assault of a New Zealand man in his Nadi hotel room.
Fiji police say the man, who is in intensive care in Lautoka hospital, is in a stable condition.
The incident occurred at Raffles Gateway Hotel in Nadi on Thursday night.

Fiji's Assistant Police Commissioner, Rusiate Tudravu, says the four people are facing aggravated burglary charges.
The New Zealand High Commission says it is aware of the incident and is providing consular assistance to the man.
