Rapper Nas was forced to scrap a collaboration with R&B star Frank Ocean for his new album after it got lost due to a technical error.

The ‘I Can’ hitmaker hit the studio with Ocean on a track called ‘No Such Thing as White Jesus’, but the tune was accidentally wiped - and the pair didn't have time to re-record the song to meet Nas' deadline for his upcoming Life Is Good release.

Ocean revealed the news in an interview with the New York Times, in which he expressed regret over being unable to recreate the duet.

However, there is one big collaboration he will always be able to revisit and treasure - his work with Beyonce on ‘I Miss You’ from her latest album, 4.

He says, "She came in and heard the song, and she shed a tear and recorded it, and I wanted to shed a tear."
