Frankenweenie review

By Kate Rodger

For the kids with an appetite for the macabre and scary is Frankenweenie.

The story of nerdy young science freak Victor, on a mission to bring his beloved dog Sparky back to life, is a delight, particularly in all it's gorgeous black and white stop-motion animated 3D.

Tim Burton purists young and old will find plenty to love here, its a little bit Edward Scissorhands, and certainly a little bit Corpse Bride.

Well worth a visit, and the extra for 3D.

Three and half stars.
