Actress Freida Pinto has been hailed a hero after saving a fan who fell in front of an oncoming car in London.
The Slumdog Millionaire star was shopping in the city's West End with her boyfriend Dev Patel earlier this week when they were approached by a female fan.
But Pinto, who was being tailed by photographers at the time, accidentally bumped into the woman - sending her flying into the middle of the road.
A witness tells the London Lite newspaper, “As Freida turned around, she bumped into the fan because she didn't see her. Afterwards, Freida made sure the woman was okay. It was quite a shock for all, especially Freida and the fan.”
Neither Pinto or the unidentified women were injured in the incident.
