Waiouru enjoyed some snow Tuesday

A warning for anyone heading out tonight: it’s going to be frosty in many parts of the country.

That means roads could be icy, particularly in inland areas of both islands.

In the Central North Island Waiouru only reached two degrees today and while the combination of sleet or snow was fun for some, the moisture – combined with clear, still weather – will mean lots of ice and frost on the roads.
