Tom Jones

Welsh music superstar Sir Tom Jones is in New Zealand for a series of four concerts.

After releasing his first single in 1964, Jones has sold over 100 million records.

His career highlights included a BRIT Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, a Silver Clef Award for Lifetime Achievement and a knighthood in 2006.

Today he held a media conference in Auckland and David Farrier attended and had the chance to ask a question he has always wanted to.

Always remember the good 'ol days with Tom on TV here in the U.S. with his high heeled shoes. Even had a pair myself & being an amateur singer myself, I used to feel as female version of Tom each time I wore 'em :-) It's great he's still performing. Facebook is wonderful. It really does make the world smaller & allow people to keep current & get in touch with everyone!!!
