Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine

Megadeth is in New Zealand to perform at a sold out Auckland show alongside Slayer.

Frontman Dave Mustaine is a fascinating character who has been a major player in the international metal scene for nearly three decades.

Mustaine was one of Metallica's earliest members and after being kicked out, went on to be named the greatest metal guitarist ever in a book by Joel McIver and sell over 25 million albums with Megadeth.

THAT'S THE CUPCAKES SONG! YEAAAAAAA! lol The Cupcake song is an amazing song. It's for the better that he took that bus trip by oh so much. Dave's singing and playing at the same time really is unmatched in my opinion. He plays the most complicated riffs and is still able to sing over them. That is one of the hardest things to do in music or at least guitar. Dave Mustaine is the number one man in heavy music(and I say music because metal is too narrow).
