Future of the FMA, post-Rod Petricevic

The Financial Markets Authority was set up in 2010 after the collapse of the finance company industry. It led to losses of more than $3 billion.

Since then it has had some wins. The sentencing of former Bridgecorp director Rod Petricevic this week is one of them.

The FMA will mark its first birthday on Tuesday, and its chief executive, Sean Hughes, talked to The Nation about the year that has been and what is to come.
