G20 leaders take their places for the traditional family photo at the G20 Summit in Cannes (Reuters)

The events in Greece meant there was a key face missing from the traditional "family photo" at the G20 summit in France.

Greek leader George Papandreou was addressing his parliament in Athens while the world leaders gathered.

US President Barack Obama has declared his solidarity with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel – the two architects of the debt bailout plan.
