George Clooney's ex-girlfriend is the latest celebrity to go naked for animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Elisabetta Canalis unveiled her campaign in Beverly Hills this week.
The streets came to a temporary halt as shoppers on Rodeo Drive were treated to an eyeful as Canalis posed next to her nude black and white portrait.
The Italian TV host has long-been anti-fur and her campaign will be shown prominently in Milan, where designers are still known to use fur in their collections.
"This is a thing which I personally believe, trust in, so nobody told me to do it. Since I was a little kid, I was against fur - I never wore fur in my life," said Canalis.
Canalis joins a long list of Hollywood celebrities stripping off for PETA's anti-fur campaign, such as Charlize Theron and Pamela Anderson.
She was moved to do the campaign after hearing of the immense cruelty suffered by animals in the fur trade.
Canalis will be featured in PETA's "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign, which will be appearing in advertisements and on billboards worldwide.
